I have always been drawn to learning. I studied graphic design and loved it, but I quickly realized that without a strategic foundation, design alone lacks true impact—so I specialized in marketing. At the same time, my fascination with human emotions and behavioral patterns led me to explore transpersonal psychology, seeking to understand the deeper forces shaping our lives.

Over time, my spiritual journey evolved. I moved beyond my family’s Catholic roots and found a profound connection with Buddhism, resonating with its teachings on releasing pre-programmed reactions. Later, I recognized that without business knowledge, managing any creative endeavor is challenging—so I pursued a master’s in business administration. My love for exploration even led me to the world of wine, where I became a certified sommelier under the Barcelona curriculum and completed WSET Level 2.

Yet, through all these experiences, painting remained my constant—a meditation, a portal to other worlds, and a way to express the invisible.​ Then, life shifted...

In 2020, I lost my daughter. In 2023, I battled cancer. These experiences made me profoundly aware of life’s fragility. I chose to embrace each moment fully—to pour my energy into what truly matters. And painting is an essential part of that journey. If I am to leave something behind in this world, I want it to be a legacy of resilience, light, and joy.

A Lifelong Fascination with Birds

 

Birds have always captivated me—not only for their beauty and ability to fly but because, despite their apparent fragility, they survive against all odds. No matter the day, hearing birds sing is always soothing. Their song brings a deep sense of well-being because they only sing when all is well.

Hummingbirds, in particular, had always intrigued me. They are so tiny and fast that you rarely get the chance to truly see them. But when I began to explore their spiritual meaning, something magical happened—they started visiting me. Those encounters became profound moments of connection, as if they carried messages from the unseen.

Since my daughter’s passing, butterflies and birds have visited me in ways that feel more than coincidence. In those fleeting encounters, I feel her presence—an unbreakable bond that transcends time. These moments inspired my Hummingbird Collection, where each painting is more than an image; it is a symbol of love, resilience, and connection.

Hummingbirds, with their iridescent beauty and boundless energy, feel like tiny messengers from the unseen. Through my work, I aim to capture their dazzling colors and shapes, but also the wonder, hope, and healing they represent.

More than just paintings, each portrait of a hummingbird is created with the intention of radiating adaptability and resilience into every home they enter. These birds, so small yet powerful, remind us that we, too, can navigate life’s challenges with grace and strength.
